Puppies & Kittens need a lot of energy and calories in comparison to their size then adult cats and dogs to maintain their wellbeing.
You need to use special diets to meet these high energy needs and your puppy or kitten will grow up with strong muscles and bones!
When puppies & kittens are new born the best food for them is their mothers milk which provides antibodies for their immune system as well as being high in nutrition
If you are hand rearing the puppy or kitten then you can give them special puppy or kitten milk, they will not be able to have any other milk, it has to be a specific puppy or kitten milk or else they could develop diarrohea.
You can feed your puppy or kitten dry or wet food forms, it is a good idea to feed a majority dry diet which is excellent for the dental care

Ensure that your new pet is spayed or neutered after 6 months of age and has a physical exam, worming and vaccines at 8, 12 and 16 weks of age.
Get your kitten or puppy microchipped so they can be identified, if they go missing, as being yours.
Remember you are making a lifetime committment buying a new puppy or kitten!
Make sure that you give your puppy or kitten fresh water and the right specific food daily as well as clean the litter box which is vital for wellbeing every day!
